If a feature needs a sensitive permission, such as accessibility or notification access, it is optional, explained before you turn it on, and used only for that feature.

Apps request only hardware permissions required for core functions. If an app doesn't need location or contacts, it never asks.

Where possible, data stays on your device. When a feature needs an account or a backup you turn on, we store only what it needs, and we never sell your data.
